1. To provide professional standards of animal care, rehabilitation and assistance to injured, sick, rescued, or orphaned wild birds

The Alaska WildBird Rehabilitation Center, Inc accepts sick, injured or orphaned wild birds from private citizens, animal control, nature centers, law enforcement persons and state and federal regulatory agencies. Professional staff supplies the highest quality medical care and maintenance to all wild native avian species including raptor, corvid, passerine, and waterfowl species. A fully equipped medical infirmary exists on site. Service available include diagnostics, X-ray, orthopedic repair and specialized diets. Alaska WildBird Rehab Center Inc. now offers assistance to all Alaska native and migratory wild birds. The goal is to return all viable individuals to the wild. More than half of the wild birds admitted to the rehabilitation facility were ultimately released in the the wild.

2. To educate the public about Alaska migratory and resident wild birds
